Video: Welcome to Remembary

Here's a screencast video about the new Remembary 1.3.5:

Making this video was a lot of fun, although it took a surprising amount of work.

The music was put together from some catchy GarageBand loops. The idea of the music was to have something classical but also fun and contemporary.

If you look closely, you'll notice that the text is from Samuel Pepys' diary. The Twitter feeds are also from Samuel Pepys (@samuelpepys). The RSS feeds used are all the kinds of things he would have been into: photos of London from Flickr, the Royal Navy, the British Parliament, and London Theatre.

The Flickr picture that comes up, though, is from a party I went to a few months ago. I think the band is performing Barrett's Privateers.
